Challenge
This project sat in the heart of upmarket Sandton and featured some of the most bold, over-the-top architecture we’ve ever encountered. The client was looking for something beyond "standard" luxury; they wanted visuals that felt like they belonged on a high-end magazine cover.
The real difficulty was managing the scale and audacity of the design without letting it feel like a cold, unlivable museum. We had to do justice to the architecture while proving the home was actually a place for living.
Approach
Because the architecture was so unique, we couldn't settle for "good enough." Every shot was treated like a hero piece, focusing on mind-blowing compositions that highlighted the grand scale of the site.
At the same time, we carefully layered in textures and lighting that brought warmth and approachability back into the frame. By finding that balance between the ostentatious design and the reality of a functioning home, we helped the architects tell a story of a space that was both a landmark and a residence.
